This global Corporate and Trust services provider is looking to appoint a new Senior RM to cover a series of business critical client relationships from their Luxembourg office.
The firm is a market leader in offering the
structuring, administration and support of corporate services to other financial institutions and high net worth investors. They also offer a series of wealth management solutions and have a group of investment funds which they manager. Currently they operate in over twenty countries and with global clients drawn from other financial institutions (mainly other banks), other corporates, wealthy investors and medium sized firms.
The company desires to expand its Trust offerings to include new and innovative corporate service solutions. The key to establishing these is a clear understanding of the customer's requirements and needs. Here the Senior RM plays a key role.
The Senior RM manages a small portfolio of tier one clients. Usually these are other financial institutions and more often than not investment banks that use the firms specialises in offshore structuring as part of their overall wealth management offering to their customer base. Central to the Senior Manager's remit is to take ownership of the daily administration and management of the client's structures and investment vehicles. These are supported and administered in many ways with the company undertaking all accountancy, general management, book keeping, fiscal, risk management and compliance control processes on that customers behalf. Key offerings include the
SOPARFI (Société de Participations Financières) company; where the Senior RM will work to ensure the customer benefits from all favourable exemptions on their dividends, capital gains and liquidation proceeds. Another popular structure the company manages on behalf of top clients is SICAR (Société d’investissement en capital à risque) collective vehicles - usually used for the raising of capital for project finance.
Of course critical to the success of the Senior RMs business, will take more than just technical expertise in offshore holdings and vehicles. The Senior RM must at all times seek to create mutually profitable, long lasting and transparent business relationships with their clients, their customers other external advisers and the introducer channel. Leveraging and employing the full global resources of the company are central to this. Proven success in assisting customers more often than not leads to repeat business and cross selling opportunities, and it is the Senior RMs task to spot and execute on any new opportunities that might arise in their client's organizations.
As you would expect the Senior RM vacancy requires an experienced and skilled Trust / Corporate Services professional. The firm has a clear set of guidelines for the characteristics and experience they are looking for in an applicant for this well paid Luxembourg Trust job, this is:
- At least five years relevant experience in another trust and corporate service provider.
- Educated to degree level.
- A good understanding of the Grand Duchies legal system and its specifics around corporate tax and company law.
- Fluency in English and French.
- Proven negotiation and client relationship management skills.
